, Bulgari can resurrect a real clock icon with the Roma, limited to 250 copies. At its premiere in 1975 marked the first Bulgari Roma in the watch world. Of modernity, which still dominates the look of the watch, its design was but a recourse to historical and even antique role models: A source of inspiration was the ancient Rome where the Emperor expressing their power and domination by valuable coins. The coins were embossed with the profile of the ruler and the name of his empire and witnessed power of his influence, his strength, and personality. This tradition following on the brand logo, as well as the name of the eternal city – graced a reminiscence of the origins of the House – the bezel of the Bulgari Roma. A cylindrical housing coined the clear and formal design of the clock and at the same time reminiscent of the architectural heritage of ancient Rome.

From this point on, the embossed trademark logo was considered clear distinguishing feature of the House of Bulgari. in 1977, the use of the logo as a symbol of aesthetic and style characteristic was completed with the introduction of the Bulgari Bulgari. The now-famous double signature established itself as the stylistic patterned. Although across only tiny, almost imperceptible adjustments have been made over the years, the watch even today boasts modern timelessness and secured a firm place in the history of the 20th century. No wonder, then, that the design is quoted again until today by various brands.
Edition with factory work
This year is the iconic Bulgari Bulgari with many new versions of the focus of innovations by Bulgari. As a special tribute to the historic landmark of collection is republished here. The new version of Bulgari Roma has a complete in-house developed and manufactured movement with automatic winding (BUL 191). It is powered in an elegantly curved Rosé gold case with black alligator leather strap. The limited and numbered Edition will be available from June 2013 at a price of 22 000 Swiss francs.
